Following the successful SEIS mission on Mars, IPGP is committed to advancing technology for future missions with even higher performance standards. The main targets are lunar opportunities by 2030.
MAÅGM is a partner of IPGP in developing a new generation of seismometers dedicated to planetary observation. More specifically, to reach a new level of performance, an optical readout of the proof mass displacement is being developed to replace the capacitive sensor.
MAÅGM provides expertise and know-how to the project, conducting analysis and optimization of the optical design, pushing it to its ultimate performance levels
